Tranquilo is a Baja-inspired restaurant featuring local ingredients and flavours from all over the Pacific Coast. Chef Elmark Andres has a love for big flavours, enriched with his time at Bao Bei & the Dirty Apron and he works with the ingredients from our kitchen garden, and the farms of Galiano Island and the Cowichan Valley.

I've always liked to challenge myself to create new recipes. Ultimately, I like cooking family-style, because food should always be enjoyed in the company of others. Tranquilo has plenty of dishes that are perfect for sharing because food is a great way to bring together love and great flavors!
